We are proud to be an officially certified club affiliated with Kukkiwon, USA Taekwondo, and AAU Taekwondo—three of the most respected organizations in the world of Taekwondo.

These affiliations reflect our commitment to integrity, safety, internationally recognized standards, and long-term student development. They ensure that our curriculum, instruction, and advancement pathways align with the highest levels of accountability in the art.

  • Official Kukkiwon logo – World Taekwondo Headquarters, international governing body for Taekwondo certification

    Kukkiwon – The World Taekwondo Headquarters

    Kukkiwon is the global governing body of traditional Taekwondo, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. It serves as the international authority responsible for preserving the technical, educational, and cultural standards of the art.

    Kukkiwon oversees:

    • Global Black Belt (Dan and Poom) certification

    • Official Taekwondo curriculum and technical standards

    • The preservation and promotion of Taekwondo’s philosophical and cultural foundations

    At TVMA Academy, eligible Black Belt certifications are issued through Kukkiwon. This ensures that our students train in accordance with internationally recognized standards and that their rank is respected worldwide.

  • Official USA Taekwondo logo – National Governing Body for Olympic Taekwondo in the United States

    USA Taekwondo – National Olympic Governing Body

    USA Taekwondo (USATKD) is the national governing body for Taekwondo in the United States and operates under the authority of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. As a USA Taekwondo–affiliated club, TVMA Academy adheres to nationally recognized standards for safety, instruction, and athlete development.

    USA Taekwondo affiliation supports:

    • SafeSport compliance and certified instruction

    • Access to sanctioned national competitions and championship pathways

    • Proper development of both competitive and recreational athletes

    Master Eric maintains current SafeSport training and a completed background screening through the National Center for Safety Initiatives. This ensures that all instruction and leadership at TVMA Academy meet the highest standards of care, professionalism, and athlete protection.

    AAU Taekwondo – Amateur Athletic Union Program

    AAU Taekwondo is a nationwide organization dedicated to athlete development, education, and inclusive competition opportunities. As an AAU-registered Taekwondo club, TVMA Academy provides students with additional pathways to grow through structured and family-friendly competitive experiences.

    AAU Taekwondo affiliation offers:

    • Opportunities to compete at local, regional, and national AAU events

    • Access to a development-focused and inclusive competition network

    • Supplemental training and competition pathways outside the Olympic circuit

    AAU’s mission to promote amateur sports, character development, and lifelong participation aligns closely with TVMA Academy’s values of growth, leadership, and community.
